From fishing village/fish processing to now
In 1994 a charming place for selling/processing fish was built along with a place for boats and fish management. Soon requests for coffee, sandwiches, snacks, drinks, ice cream and food started. So eventually a restaurant section with 30 seats was built.
Jumping forward to 2009/10 an even larger restaurant where there was room for 90 guests was added.
In the summer of 2019 it came to a tragic end when one of the old smoke houses from 1994 caught fire and nothing could be saved.
Quickly the building of a new restaurant began and in May 2020 the doors to Laxhall Hamnkrog & Konferens were opened.
