Laxhall as a starting point for archipelago experiences – preliminary study
In 2017, the preliminary study produced basic materials for products and services that could be accommodated in 4 package solutions. In addition to that, workshops were held with a focus on learning more about naturism, a study trip to the naturism destination Visingsö. Many committed Torsö residents participated in the various activities that the preliminary study did to strengthen the development of new tourist packages on Torsö and the surrounding area. The project clearly showed that a need for a spider in the web was needed to some extent, but all the heavy work was done all the time from below. The preliminary study carried out scouting of the environment, for, among other things, suitable technical solutions that could be used in e.g. rental and for information dissemination. A compilation of proposals was drawn up for new products/services and packages, 5 products/services and 4 packages. They wanted to increase the knowledge of at least 10 participating people about the hospitality industry, marketing, product development. Many collaborations were created during the course of the project and old collaborations were further strengthened. The project was completed at the turn of the year -17/-18.

Archipelago Torsö
The feasibility study added flavor and opened up a new implementation project based on the action plan developed in the feasibility study. Skara Stift’s Property Committee participated in the preliminary study sponsored with money to be able to pay for the writing process for a new application. Faithful zealots who continue to be passionate about local tourism and development opportunities for the residents of the island continue in this project as well. There are constantly more people, companies and organizations who want to be involved in order to contribute with knowledge, competence and new tourist gems. This project will test the developed basic materials for the package solutions and adapt them to tomorrow’s visitors. Furthermore, translations of guide material must be made to reach foreign tourists as well, mainly German- and English-speaking countries. The idea is to further broaden the packages with new opportunities from several actors on the island and surrounding islands where fine natural values ​​and experiences can be found.
